Bernard P @RT72615139 1d This the 29th movie of the long Anime franchise ticks nearly all the boxes that fans will expect and then some extra ones for exceptional high speed chase animation. As always the film gives first time viewers a recap of the main characters and some of the ancillary ones at the start. . The locations of Hakone and Tokyo are beautiful . The film includes sentimental memories, and manages some real heart in among the wealth of explosions, and peril. Conan uses all his daring skills along with Haibara’s help and there is time for resourceful Ran to encounter danger to remind us of the romance that began the series all those years ago. With the voice actress of Conan’s minder (and his true girlfriend) having sadly passed away, it is heartwarming to hear Ran’s Original voice in the series for the final time. The ending jazzy ballad is superb (and the theme kicks in as you would want in the finale) Anyone new to the series could watch this one without being too confused. See more Read all reviews
