The show follows Guy Anatole, fresh out of law school and positioned for a bright future at a white-shoe firm in New York. He is approached and recruited by a mysterious woman who is a senior member of the Talamasca, a secretive organization devoted to surveilling the supernatural. As Guy is drawn further into this unknown world, he realizes he's been enlisted for a singular and perilous purpose: to go undercover into the Talamasca's London Motherhouse and unmask an agent who may be working with dangerous forces to bring down the entire organization from within, threatening the safety of the entire mortal world.

It was great, do not watch it. It ends with a cliffhanger and never finishes the story, and then they cancelled it after one season, so it's pretty worthless as it never had a chance to go anywhere. I don't know why anyone would care about a shared universe made up of a bunch of disjointed unfinished pieces. This would have been great if they gave it another season or just told them it would only get one from the start.

Brilliant law school grad is offered a dream job making loads of cash at a prestigious law firm but turns it down to spend his days skulking around grim back alleys, witnessing nasty murders, and chasing assorted undead. Maybe he’s not so brilliant.
