paocut T @RamonThePlayer Aug 20 Honestly, it was a great movie! The animation is exceptional and even though I was skeptical of this being a musical in the beggining, the songs were pretty nice. As a miraculouse fan, this is everything I ever wanted from the main show. The only problem is the fast pacing, this would have been better as a trilogy or a bit of a longer movie, and it tried to cram a bit too many things in too little time, but I still enjoyed it a lot. It deviates a bit from the established lore of the show in some aspects and doesn't explain some of the powers which could leave non fans a bit lost at times, but I still think that for non fans of the franchise it's a fun superhero movie, and for fans, it's everything we've been asking of the main show for the last decade, and handles the ending and character dynamics far better than the season 5 of the show (I hated that finally...) I am massively disappointed, and quite frankly frustrated. Don't get me wrong, the animation was amazing. But that's not what matters for Miraculous. Miraculous is about its story, character development, themes and morals. This film THREW ALL THAT OUT THE WINDOW, just to make a "romantic musical"! The story, lazy, pacing, rushed mess, and for true og fans a very confusing mess. My biggest issue, they changed Adrien's entire personality, in the show he's a confident, charismatic, funny and loving person who had to hide himself behind a shy, timid and obedient persona for years to uphold his family name. In the film he's over the top A-HOLE who didn't respect Ladybug and treated her as if she were beneath him, until he fell in love with her. Even then he was disrespectful when Ladybug didn't reciprocate feelings for him. It really gave "boy's will be boys" energy. This film is a joke to the series to be honest. We need a new movie and my only complaint is there should be more songs and the movie is fast paced so don't listen to the haters if you are a fan of the series then you will love it and if not then who cares.
