The film is an interesting and uncomfortable document of whose privacy is deemed important in a case like this. Go to Full Review

With no new revelations pertaining to the case, the main talking point from this documentary looks likely to be the footage of the arrests. Bar the noise and the rubbernecking, there is little of real substance to add about the harrowing case. Go to Full Review

This film had all the excellent footage (including police interviews) and the exclusive sit-downs you might want. Go to Full Review

It does a fairly adequate job of presenting both sides of whether or not convicted child murderer Lucy Letby is guilty of the crimes that sent her to prison for life. Previously unreleased police footage is the main reason to watch. Go to Full Review

Given the use of AI to "create" characters making assertions about Lucy and the case, this feels like an exercise in hoodwinking. Go to Full Review

Aye E 2d Not only was the topic disturbing but it's barely watchable each time the AI interviewees come on the screen making inhuman micro-expressions. Just made me uncomfortable and queasy. There are so many other ways it could've been done if they didn't want to be identifiable. Even if they had actors portraying them it would've sounded more authentic and actually emotional then it did with these AI renderings. Or put the subjects in shadow behind a screen with wigs and hats on, it's worked fine before!!! See more TheMovieSearch R @TheMovieSearch 2d The Investigation of Lucy Letby on Netflix tackles a truly shocking criminal case involving the deaths of children under her care. While the subject is inherently compelling, the documentary falls flat in execution. The pacing is slow, the storytelling monotonous, and key details lack impact, leaving viewers disengaged. Interviews and archival footage are competent but uninspired, and the narrative often feels forced, making it hard to stay invested. The series also struggles to balance factual reporting with emotional engagement, which makes the viewing experience tedious rather than gripping. Despite the horrific events at its core, it fails to create real tension or insight into the case. Overall, it’s a missed opportunity that doesn’t do justice to the story, leaving audiences frustrated and underwhelmed, rather than educated or captivated. See more Tor T @tor_tuga 2d This documentary is insulting. Netflix should be embarrassed for using AI instead of hiring human actors for anonymity. It makes the entire movie journalistically questionable at best and unwatchable at worst. Do better, Netflix. See more Jacqui W @Superbrhubarb 4d This could have been a great documentary, AI totally ruined it. See more Jake H. @hochbergjm 5d This is the worst thing I have ever watched. Netflix should be ashamed for putting out this garbage. The AI was terrible and there was zero suspense See more cry m @Crytearia289 6d Im a true crime fan not an AI fan it ruined this story.
