Micheal M. @RT78383229 2d This movie is trash, but the story is beautiful. I really felt for Sheldon. He went through so much. That bald bitch pissed me off. I’m glad she fucking died. Her wig was bad too. I gasped when she pulled it off and was bald. Lucas was ugly. Should have gotten a different prince. That both the girls were too pretty for him. He looks like a temu Ben from descendants. I was mad when I saw him. He should have drowned with his stupid statue and the girls should have gotten together. Keep up the good work! To my left, my 4 year old was watching something intently — when i turned to the screen with squinted eyes, i thought they were playing tricks on me. She was like ‘MOMMY! Hey, you feel bedder?’ since i fell asleep after getting sick. I couldn’t even respond vocally as i quickly rubbed the sleep in my eyes to get a better look at the characters chewing their words and smiling nonstop as they spoke. Especially that one character with these big ol teeth. I was terrified. I said baby what are you watching? She ‘A mermaid movie.’ Im still scared. I mean I took a picture & photo searched to find out what in the world my girl stumbled upon. she always manages to stumble upon the scariest low budget animated films. bless her she’s the sweetest. im scared to look at the screen as i type this. they wrong for this movie. But once you get used to it, it's not so terrible. The story itself it honestly better than the disney version. It has more elements of the hans Christian Andersen telling (like all the mermaids going to the surface at a certain age and visiting in groups, for example), though not nearly as dark (her tongue isn't chopped off for example). It's not musical, but that's ok, since the original story is very dark and decidedly not musical. Give it a chance, it's a pretty cute telling of a classic.
