The Musical (2026) 56% 5/5 EDIT “The Musical is destined to become a comedic cult classic. ” – FILMHOUNDS Magazine Feb 15, 2026 Full Review Carousel (2026) 70% 4/5 EDIT “Between Sometimes I Think About Dying and Carousel, Lambert isn’t a filmmaker for everyone. But invest in her worlds, and you’ll be rewarded. Carousel is the rare romantic drama that plays it cool, but is all the more human for it.” – FILMHOUNDS Magazine Feb 15, 2026 Full Review Good Luck, Have Fun, Don't Die (2025) 83% B- EDIT “Seeing underrepresented characters in a zany B-movie like Good Luck, Have Fun, Don’t Die is a welcome sight.” – Mediaversity Reviews Feb 13, 2026 Full Review The Incomer (2026) 91% 3/5 EDIT “Through sheer willpower and love for their characters, the leading cast make The Incomer a worthwhile watch.” – FILMHOUNDS Magazine Feb 10, 2026 Full Review Josephine (2026) 97% 4/5 EDIT “Whenever it gets a public release, Josephine will surely connect with viewers for its haunting yet powerful outlook on lost innocence in a turbulent world. ” – FILMHOUNDS Magazine Feb 10, 2026 Full Review Meadowlarks (2025) 88% 3/5 EDIT “Whilst the characteristics of a melodrama rears its ugly head, Meadowlarks is still worth a watch. An important story that deserves to be told to audiences on the big screen, the committed performances show us the trauma these people have endured.” – FILMHOUNDS Magazine Feb 10, 2026 Full Review Song Sung Blue (2025) 78% 3/5 EDIT “Song Sung Blue may have charm, but it unfortunately has none of the originality of more recent music biopics.” – FILMHOUNDS Magazine Feb 10, 2026 Full Review The Housemaid (2025) 74% 3/5 EDIT “This adaptation is so faithful that fans of the book will be happy, and new audiences get to experience the twists as they are. But staying safe robs the opportunity to turn The Housemaid into something more than just a thrill ride.” – FILMHOUNDS Magazine Feb 10, 2026 Full Review Magellan (2025) 88% B- EDIT “Magellan’s racial representation is terrific, but the women are simply cannon fodder.” – Mediaversity Reviews Feb 6, 2026 Full Review One Battle After Another (2025) 94% B EDIT “One Battle After Another tackles stereotypes but doesn’t give characters enough depth to subvert them.” – Mediaversity Reviews Dec 29, 2025 Full Review Preparation for the Next Life (2025) 97% 4/5 EDIT “Even the most hardened viewer will find it difficult not to empathise with these characters. Preparation for the Next Life is a sombre yet engaging film carried by a star-making turn from Behtiyar.” – FILMHOUNDS Magazine Dec 12, 2025 Full Review Wicked: For Good (2025) 66% C+ EDIT “Even though Wicked: For Good imparts an awful message about friendship, it isn’t enough to derail the film thanks to Grande and Erivo’s committed, brilliant performances.” – Mediaversity Reviews Dec 12, 2025 Full Review I Really Love My Husband (2025) 89% 3/5 EDIT “I Really Love My Husband shows the potential of Hawkins as a filmmaker and storyteller. She clearly wants to explore more specific aspects of the human experience in an insightful way, but that can only be achieved with a tighter, more focused script.” – FILMHOUNDS Magazine Nov 6, 2025 Full Review Pillion (2025) 100% 4/5 EDIT “A striking debut, Lighton has joined the likes of Jane Schoenbrun in creating a radical piece of queer cinema that will likely become a future classic.” – FILMHOUNDS Magazine Nov 4, 2025 Full Review Hedda (2025) 89% 4/5 EDIT “Sexy, sly and scandalous, DaCosta knows how to utilise her entire arsenal to tell a story that is thrillingly entertaining yet thoughtful.” – FILMHOUNDS Magazine Nov 3, 2025 Full Review Hamnet (2025) 86% 4/5 EDIT “Hamnet is an emotional rollercoaster that will stir your soul, making you appreciate not just your loved ones but art too.” – FILMHOUNDS Magazine Nov 3, 2025 Full Review After the Hunt (2025) 37% C+ EDIT “On the one hand, After the Hunt is visually entertaining, and the terrific acting carries the film. But it feels outdated in its surface-level commentary on #MeToo.” – Mediaversity Reviews Oct 17, 2025 Full Review California Schemin' (2025) 95% 4/5 EDIT “Turns out McAvoy has a deft hand when it comes to directing, creating a musical biopic full of energy and surprising attention to detail.” – FILMHOUNDS Magazine Oct 11, 2025 Full Review My Mother's Wedding (2023) 41% 2/5 EDIT “What makes My Mother’s Wedding so frustrating is that all the elements are here for a genuinely moving comedy drama, but the execution is lacking.” – FILMHOUNDS Magazine Oct 11, 2025 Full Review The Return of the Living Dead (1985) 71% 5/5 EDIT “Arrow Video provides the best way to watch one of the best horror films in cinema. The Return of the Living Dead plays just as well as it did when it originally came out forty years ago. ” – FILMHOUNDS Magazine Sep 30, 2025 Full Review Detective Conan: One-Eyed Flashback (2025) 2/5 EDIT “One-Eyed Flashback is ultimately a disappointing entry in the Detective Conan feature film series, but there's just enough here to avoid it becoming a total misfire.” – FILMHOUNDS Magazine Sep 30, 2025 Full Review Good Boy (2025) 90% 3/5 EDIT “In the end, Good Boy does wrap up a bittersweet story about letting go of a dear friend—but it's a bumpy road getting there. ” – FILMHOUNDS Magazine Sep 30, 2025 Full Review Ebony & Ivory (2024) 73% 3/5 EDIT “With The Greasy Strangler, An Evening with Beverly Luff Linn, and now this, Hosking proves that his work isn't for everyone, but it sure is singular and unique.” – FILMHOUNDS Magazine Sep 16, 2025 Full Review Solo (2023) 95% 3/5 EDIT “Whilst Dupuis’ third feature doesn’t reach its full potential, Solo is still worth watching. Pellerin is a star in the making, and Dupuis certainly has a strong visual eye.” – Movie Marker Sep 16, 2025 Full Review The Long Walk (2025) 88% 5/5 EDIT “The Long Walk is the most heart-wrenching film you’ll see this year.” – FILMHOUNDS Magazine Sep 3, 2025 Full Review
