An American adaptation of the Israeli show of the same name, "Euphoria" follows the troubled life of 17-year-old Rue, a drug addict fresh from rehab with no plans to stay clean. Circling in Rue's orbit are Jules, a transgender girl searching for where she belongs; Nate, a jock whose anger issues mask sexual insecurities; Chris, a football star who finds the adjustment from high school to college harder than expected; Cassie, whose sexual history continues to dog her; and Kat, a body-conscious teen exploring her sexuality. As the classmates struggle to make sense of their futures, the series tackles the teenage landscape of substance-enhanced parties and anxiety-ridden day-to-day life with empathy and candor.

Euphoria Season 3 is a darker, more subdued continuation of Rue’s struggle with addiction, as she drifts deeper into a dangerous world without a clear way out. The story shifts from youthful chaos to the heavy weight of consequences, trading intensity for a colder, quieter tone. While Rue’s arc remains powerful and emotionally grounded, other characters feel underdeveloped or sidelined. The narrative often feels fragmented, with strong moments scattered between slower, less engaging stretches. Visually and performatively compelling at times, but lacking the emotional spark that once defined the series. A bold but uneven season .... mature in intent, yet missing some of its former soul.

I loved the wedding episode and liked the season finale but that’s pretty much it. Domingo & Zendaya’s performances were amazing though. As a day 1 fan of the show, I was disappointed with the writing. Sydney’s storyline was a bit stupid, the Godzilla scene was so long and annoying. 2.8/5 rating for me but the actor of Bishop, Zendaya and the actor portraying Ali deserve an Emmy for their outstanding performances! ASAP! Also loved Alamo’s backstory and the actor is great.
