Balls Up (2026) 28% 0/5 EDIT “It’s good to try to find something positive in even the worst movies, but there’s nothing remotely redeeming in the criminally atrocious Amazon Prime comedy, "Balls Up." ” – KKFI-FM (Kansas City) Apr 17, 2026 Full Review The Christophers (2025) 97% 4/5 EDIT “If you want to see two brilliant actors go toe-to-toe, the sly comedy "The Christophers" is the movie for you. ” – KKFI-FM (Kansas City) Apr 17, 2026 Full Review Lee Cronin's The Mummy (2026) 46% 2/5 EDIT “Let’s hope it’s a wrap on this version of The Mummy.” – KKFI-FM (Kansas City) Apr 17, 2026 Full Review Thrash (2026) 42% 1/5 EDIT “"Thrash" is no "Sharknado." It’s better than that camp classic, but not as funny. "Thrash" just bites.” – KKFI-FM (Kansas City) Apr 10, 2026 Full Review Hamlet (2025) 72% 3/5 EDIT “Some of the power of The Bard’s poetry is lost when rushed or mumbled to give it a more edgy feel. This "Hamlet" is a respectable mixed bag.” – KKFI-FM (Kansas City) Apr 10, 2026 Full Review Outcome (2026) 29% 2/5 EDIT “"Outcome" is like George Clooney’s recent flick "Jay Kelly," but with a meaner edge.” – KKFI-FM (Kansas City) Apr 10, 2026 Full Review A Great Awakening (2026) 71% 3/5 EDIT “While it glosses over some of controversial aspects of Whitefield’s life and his debatable positions, it’s a thoughtful, well-acted and sometimes moving account aimed at a receptive Christian audience.” – KKFI-FM (Kansas City) Apr 3, 2026 Full Review The Drama (2026) 78% 3/5 EDIT “The scenario of "The Drama" is designed to make you squirm. On that count, it’s very successful.” – KKFI-FM (Kansas City) Apr 3, 2026 Full Review The Super Mario Galaxy Movie (2026) 44% 3/5 EDIT “The visuals are duly impressive, but the plot of "The Super Mario Galaxy Movie" may evaporate from your memory faster than a Mario power-up.” – KKFI-FM (Kansas City) Apr 3, 2026 Full Review André Is an Idiot (2025) 97% 4/5 EDIT “"Andre is an Idiot" is cleverly made and surprisingly touching given how utterly irreverent and profane it is.” – KKFI-FM (Kansas City) Mar 27, 2026 Full Review A Magnificent Life (2025) 62% 3/5 EDIT “While mildly interesting, "A Magnificent Life" lacks the passion of any of Pagnol’s classic movies.” – KKFI-FM (Kansas City) Mar 27, 2026 Full Review Mike & Nick & Nick & Alice (2026) 76% 2/5 EDIT “If you wind up watching "Mike & Nick & Nick & Alice," you may wish you could go back in time and skip it.” – KKFI-FM (Kansas City) Mar 27, 2026 Full Review Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man (2026) 90% 3/5 EDIT “Terrific performers and solid British production values elevate this WWII era melodrama.” – KKFI-FM (Kansas City) Mar 20, 2026 Full Review The Pout-Pout Fish (2026) 63% 2/5 EDIT “Toddlers may smile. Parents may snooze.” – KKFI-FM (Kansas City) Mar 20, 2026 Full Review Tow (2025) 77% 3/5 EDIT “While it deals with serious issues, "Tow" takes a lighter tone with its treatment of David vs. Goliath social themes.” – KKFI-FM (Kansas City) Mar 20, 2026 Full Review Project Hail Mary (2026) 94% 3/5 EDIT “You can have all the great special effects and cute aliens you can muster, but without the charisma and star power of Ryan Gosling, the sci-fi opus "Project Hail Mary" would drift aimlessly into space. ” – KKFI-FM (Kansas City) Mar 20, 2026 Full Review War Machine (2026) 69% 2/5 EDIT “The whole thing is pretty silly and there’s a lot of R-rated carnage. Still, there may be just enough action and mayhem in "War Machine" to appeal to your inner 13-year-old.” – KKFI-FM (Kansas City) Mar 13, 2026 Full Review undertone (2025) 74% 2/5 EDIT “"Undertone" is the very definition of "slow burn"…but in this case it’s too slow. Granted, "Undertone" builds to a creep-inducing climax but takes too long to get there.” – KKFI-FM (Kansas City) Mar 13, 2026 Full Review Reminders of Him (2026) 57% 3/5 EDIT “"Reminders of Him" is as predictable, calculated and manipulative as you might expect, but the committed cast is solid. Bring the Kleenex.” – KKFI-FM (Kansas City) Mar 13, 2026 Full Review Protector (2025) 21% 1/5 EDIT “Protect your wallet and skip "Protector."” – KKFI-FM (Kansas City) Mar 6, 2026 Full Review THE BRIDE! (2026) 57% 2/5 EDIT “Credit the brave, powerhouse performances from Christian Bale and Jessie Buckley, but their efforts are in service of a mismatched conglomeration of ideas that are as patchy as Bale’s stitched-up monster. ” – KKFI-FM (Kansas City) Mar 6, 2026 Full Review Hoppers (2026) 94% 4/5 EDIT “Excellent animation, sharp voice work and a thoughtful screenplay elevate "Hoppers," which should hop right to the top of the U.S. box office. ” – KKFI-FM (Kansas City) Mar 6, 2026 Full Review The Bluff (2026) 55% 2/5 EDIT “"The Bluff" is a violent R-rated thriller that delivers the action but suffers a bit from its sketchy dialogue and bloody, over-the-top mayhem.” – KKFI-FM (Kansas City) Feb 27, 2026 Full Review Dreams (2025) 52% 2/5 EDIT “The immigration theme in "Dreams" is top-of-mind, but the movie is undermined by unlikeable characters and…here we go again…some unusually graphic sex scenes.” – KKFI-FM (Kansas City) Feb 27, 2026 Full Review Pillion (2025) 99% 3/5 EDIT “For open-minded viewers, the unconventional romance "Pillion" is an empathetic portrait of an unusual relationship.” – KKFI-FM (Kansas City) Feb 27, 2026 Full Review
