I'm Chevy Chase and You're Not (2025) 92% EDIT “Features extensive interviews with Chase — many of which show him being a jerk live on camera — lays out the entire story, leaving it to the viewer to judge. ” – Living Life Fearless Feb 13, 2026 Full Review The Rip (2026) 79% EDIT “A Netflix urban cop corruption thriller set in Miami that owes a lot more to the Den of Thieves movies than to either incarnation of Michael Mann’s Miami Vice.” – Splice Today Feb 12, 2026 Full Review Wuthering Heights (2026) 59% EDIT “A naughty and audacious literary adaptation, although not quite on the level of her first two films.” – The SS Ben Hecht Feb 12, 2026 Full Review Chain Reactions (2024) 98% EDIT “Each provides keen insight, and I was intrigued, even as someone who’s never been all that into that particular film.” – The SS Ben Hecht Feb 12, 2026 Full Review Ain't No Back to a Merry-Go-Round (2024) EDIT “A well-put-together telling of a rather obscure story from the civil rights era,” – The SS Ben Hecht Feb 12, 2026 Full Review Miracle: The Boys of '80 (2026) EDIT “It tells the story the same way most of the other Miracle on Ice docs have, complete with most of the same people saying most of the same things.” – The SS Ben Hecht Feb 12, 2026 Full Review 33 Photos From the Ghetto (2026) EDIT “The film uses modern technology to examine the photographs of the past, for a greater understanding of what happened.” – The SS Ben Hecht Feb 12, 2026 Full Review Viva Verdi! (2024) 100% EDIT “The "characters" are wonderful, and the music, even more so.” – The SS Ben Hecht Feb 12, 2026 Full Review Elway (2025) EDIT “The film mostly represents a fun throwback to an era of the NFL that I fondly remember.” – The SS Ben Hecht Feb 12, 2026 Full Review Good Luck, Have Fun, Don't Die (2025) 83% EDIT “The film is overstuffed, with a convoluted structure that begins with a dynamite premise and squanders it over the next two hours.” – Splice Today Feb 12, 2026 Full Review Send Help (2026) 93% EDIT “ It gets heavy-handed at times, and it’s too long by about 20 minutes, but it’s still Raimi’s best film in years.” – Splice Today Feb 12, 2026 Full Review Melania (2026) 11% EDIT “It’s just really, really boring. And it’s full of some very odd choices, and I’m not sure whether to blame Ratner or his subject, who reportedly 'planned every element' of the picture.” – The SS Ben Hecht Feb 4, 2026 Full Review The Moment (2026) 63% EDIT “The Moment shows that Charli can definitely hold the screen in a feature film. It’s not quite a pure comedy, although there are plenty of laughs.” – The SS Ben Hecht Feb 4, 2026 Full Review Untitled Home Invasion Romance (2025) 77% EDIT “While its premise isn’t promising, the execution is better than you’d think. ” – Splice Today Feb 4, 2026 Full Review Shelter (2026) 63% EDIT “Most of the things this movie does have been done better in the past, usually by other Jason Statham vehicles also released in January. ” – Splice Today Jan 30, 2026 Full Review Rebel with a Clause (2025) EDIT “It's not a lecture, or even a top-down declaration about the proper use of gerunds, split infinitives and the Oxford Comma. Instead it's a series of friendly, respectful conversations. ” – The SS Ben Hecht Jan 29, 2026 Full Review The Wrecking Crew (2026) 73% EDIT “Features well-executed over-the-top action set pieces, first-rate banter between the two stars, consistent humor, and a fine use of Hawaii locations.” – The SS Ben Hecht Jan 29, 2026 Full Review Mercy (2026) 24% EDIT “Starts as a certain kind of bad movie- boring, convoluted, and inert, while not making much use of its unconventional style. At the end, though, it becomes something much worse.” – The SS Ben Hecht Jan 23, 2026 Full Review A Private Life (2025) 81% EDIT “A movie that has a lot going on, perhaps too much. Its tonal shifts are overwhelming, but it does contain an outstanding Jodie Foster performance.” – Splice Today Jan 23, 2026 Full Review Kidnapped: Elizabeth Smart (2026) 100% EDIT “Kidnapped: Elizabeth Smart is valuable in that it gives the now 38-year-old Elizabeth her say, on camera, and shares the story that her voice has too often been left out of. ” – The SS Ben Hecht Jan 23, 2026 Full Review 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple (2026) 92% EDIT “Improves what worked in the last film, while also introducing some compelling ideas. It’s also a much more aesthetically enjoyable picture than the previous film.” – Splice Today Jan 15, 2026 Full Review Father Mother Sister Brother (2025) 81% EDIT “It quickly transcends its gimmick, mostly because it’s about something much more crucial than coffee or cigarettes: Namely, family, and how parents and children fracture over time. ” – The SS Ben Hecht Jan 15, 2026 Full Review One Last Adventure: The Making of Stranger Things 5 (2025) EDIT “Like the show’s endgame in microcosm: There’s some interesting stuff here, but it’s way longer than it needed to be.” – The SS Ben Hecht Jan 15, 2026 Full Review Song Sung Blue (2025) 78% EDIT “For its first and third acts, an inspirational, fun story of these adorable underdogs, cheerfully singing Diamond tunes to adoring audiences, with Hugh Jackman doing a lot of heartfelt singing. The second act is a dark parade of miseries” – Splice Today Jan 9, 2026 Full Review Peaches Goes Bananas (2024) EDIT “What it’s like for a transgressive artist to reach late middle age is a frequent topic of documentaries, about music and other things. This one handles it much better than most. ” – The SS Ben Hecht Jan 9, 2026 Full Review
