Last Action Hero (1993) 42% 7/10 EDIT “Far from being a failure, frankly, I find it to be an entertaining and criminally underrated film from McTiernan, which parodies the clichés of the action genre with an Arnold Schwarzenegger in full form. [Full review in Spanish]” – Cinefilia Feb 17, 2026 Full Review Pretty Woman (1990) 64% 5/10 EDIT “It's presented as a romantic comedy that boasts undeniable chemistry between Richard Gere and Julia Roberts, but overall, I find it somewhat boring and superficial in its modern fairy tale. [Full review in Spanish]” – Cinefilia Feb 16, 2026 Full Review Wuthering Heights (2026) 60% 5/10 EDIT “Frankly, I feel it's a period drama that offers some chemistry between Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi, but its sexually charged exercise on prejudice and class becomes too bland in its gothic romance. [Full review in Spanish]” – Cinefilia Feb 13, 2026 Full Review Crime 101 (2026) 86% 6/10 EDIT “As a heist thriller, it has a decent start with the cast led by Chris Hemsworth, Halle Berry, and Mark Ruffalo, but sometimes it goes through regular zones that takes off the hook of its crime story about cops and robbers. [Full review in Spanish]” – Cinefilia Feb 11, 2026 Full Review Daisy Miller (1974) 67% 4/10 EDIT “A period romantic drama that, beneath Bogdanovich's superficial exercise in nineteenth-century elegance, becomes enormously boring and graceless with Cybill Shepherd's wooden performance. [Full review in Spanish]” – Cinefilia Feb 10, 2026 Full Review An Affair to Remember (1957) 65% 6/10 EDIT “It's a melodrama that features palpable chemistry between Cary Grant and Deborah Kerr, but whose narrative of tragic love, unfortunately, remains in a comfortable zone that lacks dramatic hook. [Full review in Spanish]” – Cinefilia Feb 8, 2026 Full Review Confessions of a Nazi Spy (1939) 93% 5/10 EDIT “It has an interesting start by combining quasi-documentary elements with a political suspense melodrama, but overall, its narrative is too flat and superficial to take its far-fetched premise about Nazis seriously. [Full review in Spanish]” – Cinefilia Feb 6, 2026 Full Review Blind Husbands (1919) 92% 6/10 EDIT “A silent melodrama that manifests Von Stroheim's early aesthetic ambitions for mise en scène, but whose narrative, unfortunately, lacks the emotional hook to sustain its themes of jealousy, infidelity, and marital lies. [Full review in Spanish]” – Cinefilia Feb 4, 2026 Full Review If I Had Legs I'd Kick You (2025) 92% 5/10 EDIT “A psychological drama that often benefits from a particularly understated performance by Rose Byrne, but whose narrative about maternal anxiety and unease never goes beyond the therapy room. [Full review in Spanish]” – Cinefilia Feb 2, 2026 Full Review Reality (2023) 93% 6/10 EDIT “A drama that, to some extent, benefits from Sydney Sweeney's understated performance as the whistleblower, but whose narrative, unfortunately, loses its consistent tone with each skewed question in its ethical discourse. [Full review in Spanish]” – Cinefilia Feb 1, 2026 Full Review Send Help (2026) 93% 6/10 EDIT “It has a captivating start with the chemistry between Rachel McAdams and Dylan O'Brien, but then moves into irredeemable territory that frequent commonplaces in its bloody subject of survival and female empowerment. [Full review in Spanish]” – Cinefilia Jan 29, 2026 Full Review Dead for a Dollar (2022) 53% 4/10 EDIT “I find it a cheap, conventional, incredibly boring western, lacking in excitement and riding at an erratic pace with the outlaws played by Christoph Waltz and Willem Dafoe. [Full review in Spanish]” – Cinefilia Jan 28, 2026 Full Review Jujutsu Kaisen 0: The Movie (2021) 96% 6/10 EDIT “Its animation has some technical skill in character design and some action sequences drawn by MAPPA, but its narrative, beneath the calculated spectacularity, gives me the feeling that it simply lacks strength. [Full review in Spanish]” – Cinefilia Jan 26, 2026 Full Review The Way Back (2020) 84% 6/10 EDIT “It's a well-intentioned sports drama about guilt and redemption, which benefits from a restrained performance by Ben Affleck, but whose narrative sometimes stumbles over generic formulas. [Full review in Spanish]” – Cinefilia Jan 24, 2026 Full Review Vanilla Sky (2001) 41% 4/10 EDIT “Frankly, I find it a tiring and unbearably dull film starring Tom Cruise, one that makes me want to close my eyes when it descends into the abyss of psychological thriller and speculative science fiction. [Full review in Spanish]” – Cinefilia Jan 22, 2026 Full Review The Rip (2026) 79% 6/10 EDIT “A police thriller that benefits to some extent from the duo of Matt Damon and Ben Affleck, but whose heist narrative often treads familiar ground, preventing it from escaping the conventional. [Full review in Spanish]” – Cinefilia Jan 19, 2026 Full Review The Delta Force (1986) 14% 2/10 EDIT “It's a boring action thriller about international terrorism and special operations, which only works as a simplistic propaganda vehicle for Chuck Norris's empty self-aggrandizement. [Full review in Spanish]” – Cinefilia Jan 17, 2026 Full Review KPop Demon Hunters (2025) 92% 4/10 EDIT “Frankly, I find it a superficial, boring, and aesthetically inconsistent animated film that squanders its narrative opportunities by subordinating its characters to a convoluted discourse on identity. [Full review in Spanish]” – Cinefilia Jan 15, 2026 Full Review The Structure of Crystal (1969) 7/10 EDIT “A moving, critical drama in which Zanussi demonstrates intellectual maturity and a rigorous aesthetic to question, in each scene, the individual's need to think about morality under conditions of sociopolitical constraint. [Full review in Spanish]” – Cinefilia Jan 12, 2026 Full Review The Two Mrs. Carrolls (1947) 33% 5/10 EDIT “Personally, I find the performances of Bogart and Stanwyck uneven, but I also feel that it's a psychological thriller with gothic suspense pretensions that ends up being an exercise in sustained boredom. [Full review in Spanish]” – Cinefilia Jan 10, 2026 Full Review The End of St. Petersburg (1928) 75% 6/10 EDIT “Personally, I find that Pudovkin's strengths lie in the eclectic montage that synthesizes the bloody passages of the Revolution, but, in general, his narrative lacks dramatic pulse in its discursive thesis on class struggle. [Full review in Spanish]” – Cinefilia Jan 8, 2026 Full Review The Housemaid (2025) 74% 5/10 EDIT “As a psychological thriller, it offers decent performances from Sydney Sweeney and Amanda Seyfried, but its narrative about domestic violence and toxic masculinity frequents too many clichés before becoming hopelessly boring. [Full review in Spanish]” – Cinefilia Jan 6, 2026 Full Review The Night Before Christmas (1905) 6/10 EDIT “Despite Porter's talents for special effects, this is a silent short film about Santa Claus that lacks charm. [Full review in Spanish]” – Cinefilia Jan 4, 2026 Full Review Hamnet (2025) 86% 6/10 EDIT “Despite featuring understated performances from Jessie Buckley and Paul Mescal, I get the impression that this Zhao film is a bit regular and repetitive in its drama about Shakespearean family tragedy. [Full review in Spanish]” – Cinefilia Jan 2, 2026 Full Review Sirāt (2025) 93% 5/10 EDIT “Personally, I think it's a Laxe road drama that has some atmospheric panoramas, but often the narrative about immigrants and illegal raves through the Moroccan desert loses its trail like footprints in the sand.
