What was going on in their childhood that was so horrifying? Am I supposed to just assume one thing or another? They never said. Could have been better. How anybody got a dime to make this horrible piece of crap is a miracle. The reviews here are either all fake, or this is the first movie they've ever seen and have no frame of reference. It was so overwritten with insipid dialogue that consisted of lame speech after lame speech. The only good thing about this movie was the sister getting railed at the car dealership (even though the scene made absolutely no sense whatsoever) and the crow call at the end when they were apprehended. If this was indeed his last Film, then it was I suppose (& if you had to): a good one to go out on.
