Insurance investigator Virginia "Gin" Baker (Catherine Zeta-Jones), looking into a stolen Rembrandt painting, suspects that accomplished thief Robert "Mac" MacDougal (Sean Connery) is responsible. She decides to go undercover and help Mac steal an ancient artifact. When a suspicious Mac confronts Gin about her real intentions, she claims that she is, in fact, a thief and that the insurance job is a cover. To prove it, she proposes a new target that could net them $8 billion.

The film itself isn't too bad as far as Hollywood thrillers go, but if Connery wasn't always there defying the ageing process, you'd probably be reaching for the remote control.

Filme mais ou menos, o roteiro é fraco, as cenas são mais ou menos, a história é fraca, o elenco é fraco, e ninguém ajuda a melhorar o filme, os personagens são fracos, e o filme deveria ter cenas bem melhores e relevantes, para fazer o filme ser bom

Watching again in 2025- it's still decent though MUCH better when it was out. The gadgets and what not are a bit hokey and dated but Seans always great and Katherine is maybe the hottest woman to ever live. The story is cool, shot nicely. This is a movie that's a keeper but it helps if you can have the context of when it was made.

Chemistry, sure. Twists, affirmative. Zeta Jones breathing heavy with a blindfold whilst avoiding alarm laser lines, unfortunately also there.

Synopsis
