It’s the scary stillness and dazzling dynamism of Stephen Graham that will keep you coming back to each episode of this flawed thriller.

The makers build up the tension and dread about Walter's games and who he might go after next, but the narrative's slow pace hinders. However, the performances by the Nocturne cast keep you invested.

In order to appreciate Bunker, one has to embrace the mess you see before you and understand the moments that matter, rather than looking at this as a whole.

Nocturne is thoroughly daft stuff, overloaded with too many characters and too many subplots, and at 10 sluggishly paced episodes, far longer than it needs to be. There are flashbacks and multiple timelines, none of which add narrative clarity.

Weird how strong the reviews are. Found the first two episodes hackneyed and extremely mid.

It’s a little slow, so far. But my major complaint is with the actress chosen to play the FBI agent. Wrong choice - she is bringing nothing to the screen. I wish they’d found someone more Jessica Chastain-ish. Steven Graham is terrific in his role.

How can they manage to take great actors and bore the heck out of me? The makers appear to be so enamored with the now cliche gray/blue lighting and "dramatic" pacing that they forgot to move a story along. My goodness. This is so slow and so like other shows I've seen that I don't care to wait to find out.

Incredibly derivative, mediocre writing - which is a shame considering the amazing cast. I’ll keep watching given the genre but so far it’s meh…

Terrible writing and a genuine lack of imagination. Scene after scene you are asked to suspend disbelief. Nothing that happens at the place Jurek Walters is incarcerated is even mildly believable. Liev Schreiber shows he has only one method of acting. Disinterested interest.

The scariest thing about Nocturne is all the plot holes. Logic? Reason? Not here.
