This movie is wrong is so many ways that I could ever take half star out ever time I think about it. How come you painted joao de santo cristo a bad guy, he should be a victim of fate and not a natural born killer. listen to the music people. don't change what history wrote. "Faroeste Caboclo" perfectly creates the love, violence and drama of Legião Urbana's song and the story of Jeremias, Maria Lúcia e João de Santo Cristo is beautifully told on screen. The writers had to add a lot of stuff because the lyrics don't have enough content to make a film but these additions connected very well with the characters and their story. To sum up, it's very loyal to Renato Russo's composition and the performances are stunning, along with Sampaio's direction.
