See more 01/24/2012 First: This is a gay movie in french with english subtitles. That being said This is an excellent film. I'll leave the description to what it say about the movie here. The photography is excellent, the acting excellent, the script is also excellent. Basically it boils down to Romeo and Juliet. I am sure Shakespear never dreamer of this telling.Beautiful done, the material is well and almost lovingly told. I get the feeling that the writer put a lot of himself into the story. I am also sure that the actors put of lot of themselves into their characters. Would I recommend this? YES See more 08/13/2011 I disagree "Fogi is a Bastard", he's sympthatic, a drug addict who won't let anyone into his hedonistic life. One of the best movies about unrequited love and the humiliation people go through, to prove one's affection. Vincent Branchet is Beni, the young man, who's fallen in love with Fogi, a rock star. Branchet will do anything to prove himself. I like the movie best when it showed the S&M of their relationship. It's so true. Frederick Andrau is physically well cast as Fogi and he's convicing in the role. He and Branchet play well off each other. The ending is anti-climactic since the audience senses that both characters have sunk low into their depths. However, the movie doesn't sugar coat the lengths each man goes through to survive. Not a crowd pleaser, by any means, but a gritty drama about love gone wrong...the anit-love gay movie. See more 02/07/2010 First: This is a gay movie in french with english subtitles.
