Elle Woods (Reese Witherspoon) journeys to Washington, D.C., to have her say about animal rights, but is ignored by every politician she encounters and quickly learns that the White House can be even tougher to navigate than the Ivy League. Finally, Elle makes the acquaintance of sympathetic Rep. Victoria Rudd (Sally Field), who helps the young lawyer get her foot in the door of Congress. Unfortunately, Elle still has to convince the entire legislature to hear her out.

Unfortunately, the sequel is a pale-pastel imitation of the original. Director Charles Herman-Wurmfeld struggles to regain the kooky magic of the original, as the fish-out-of-water scenario wears thin.

I had to make an account just to exclaim how terrible this movie is. This is one of the worst, actually the WORST sequel I have ever seen. They ruined the amazing franchise opportunity that they had with the first legally blonde. The whole movie rushes through every character and every plot line just to get to an ending that made absolutely no parallels with the rest of the movie. The directors and writers somehow made this 1 hr and 34 mins movie feel like an eternity of bad writing and even worst characterizations. I’m just a concerned girl begging you not to watch this movie if you have any good relation to the first one.

Ésta es una de esas películas que, como secuela, se ve opacada por su predecesora. Lamentablemente la película no es tan entretenida como la anterior. A pesar de continuar con el mismo humor y dinámica, ésta deja un poco que desear en comparación. Si bien también cuenta con muchos de los mismos personajes, esta entrega no parece tener una dirección definida. En resumen, no es una película tan mala como las calificaciones la hacen ver, pero existiendo un punto de comparación, es inebitable que esto suceda.

Still shining bright like a diamond 😜 Materialistic as ever, clever as ever and determined as ever, Reese Witherspoon portrays the lead convincingly. Oh and Sally Field absolutely shines in character A little less pizazz than the previous one but still glitzy enough. Written with a little less punch but still good story. Whole cast excels in character. Good cinematography and visually appealing. Lots of sass, drama, humor, action, twists and emotion. Real girly movie, well done Charles Herman Wurmfeld and Reese Witherspoon
