We want to look at the life we have lived from outside and assess if we made it worthwhile. We are hungry for lightning to strike us , a small speck of inspiration and a commendation from somebody who knows but never met us. Carter as a young writer is deeply in search of inspiration to write, which would channel his self and his view of the world. He chances upon a glowing woman in the bar and the conversation that ensues between them in the 2 nights they spend is nothing short of being adventurous and magical. But they also navigate the perspectives that collide and fail to fit into each other's. A movie that has purpose emerging from a serendipitous encounter. Making such a movie to resonate with many layers and diverse audience can be tough. But it hit on all notes like water flowing along rocks smoothened over years of interaction.
