B B @RT95714262 2d I’m not goth, but I’m open minded and interested in all cultures and subcultures. I love to to see how different people live, interact, love and what makes humans "tick". So I was super excited to see this movie on a streaming platform. Especially after I learned that this was made by goths and had goth consultants for the movie. I assumed I would get an accurate peek into this subculture. But, even I as a non-goth can see that this was not that. It was not an accurate peek into this lifestyle. It was stereotypical surface level cliche. Also, the acting was sooo flat (especially Viktor.) I knew it was an indie film and low budget. But, cmon! I’ve seen better acting in no budget high school film projects. The female lead actress playing Joey wasn’t terrible. But, a lot of the actors surrounding her made it a very difficult watch.
