See more 01/30/2022 Newness is a raw look at a couple of young people's sex lives in the digital age. I gave it 3.5 stars only because it can be emotionally draining (and make you contemplate your own past relationships in the wee hours of the morning), but the story itself is excellent. The acting is incredible, especially that of Laia Costa, whose character Gabi feels like a real, complicated person. Everyone was great, though, even the minor characters.
