William O @RT15347751 12h If you can find this film, you must watch it. The Fifth Seal by Zoltán Fábri is a engaging political thriller that revolves around an ethical dilemma discussed by five increasingly drunk men in Nazi-occupied Hungary. The film touches on elements of life under authoritarianism and shady practices each man must endure to survive. The characters are developed meticulously and the branches formed by each character's subplot create a strong sense of connection. At the same time, the chain-smoking and continual drinking by the men lead to rememberable and funny moments that act as a barrier from the world around them. The movie is essentially a 90 minute conversation, but Fábri and the actors make you feel like you are at the table. See more Read all reviews
