Leah has grown up haunted by the memory of the car accident that killed her parents and left her with no will to live. Since then, she's a different person: she no longer laughs, she no longer feels.... Time passes until one day Oliver, Leah's older brother, is offered a job elsewhere. It is then that Axel, her best friend, offers to take care of her. When Axel sees Leah broken, he decides to help her pick up the pieces, to become herself again. But along the way, he discovers the real Leah, and even though she's a forbidden love, he can't help but feel something.

sebastian andres O @Yoamoalcine 6d The director might overuse the blurring a bit, but it's not excessive. What must be acknowledged is his skillful handling of pacing, tension, silence, and on-screen romance, allowing the beautiful setting to blend seamlessly with his effective visuals. It's not groundbreaking, but it boasts some memorable shots. Furthermore, the well-crafted dialogue is surprisingly effective, a welcome addition to stories of this genre. A solid and effective adaptation that leaves the door open for a sequel. For those who enjoy the genre, it will be a sweet and pleasant pastime; for those looking for something more polished, it might not be the right path. Ultimately, it's a film that delivers, works, and leaves a good impression; without dazzling, it allows for a pleasant time in front of the screen. It's always a pleasure for me to enjoy Spanish cinema. See more Read all reviews
