Tu Yaa Main works as much as a romantic drama as it does a survival horror, and it excels in both areas. Go to Full Review

Working with pre-existing material that has been smartly localised, Nambiar delivers his most watchable film in years. The excellent production values and Remy Dalai’s nifty cinematography boost the plot’s credibility. Go to Full Review

It is stylish, tense and powered by two committed leads who refuse to phone it in, even when trapped in a drained pool with a predator. Go to Full Review

The emotional drama and the survival thriller seem to exist in isolation rather than feeding into each other. Even so, the film remains watchable because of Bejoy Nambiar’s sharp, inventive handling of the material. Go to Full Review

Ameya 2d Decent movie. The leads have done well. Story is very different from what we have seen recently in Bollywood. One time watch for sure See more Prabhathalovesmovies 13h Bejoy Nambiar's Tu Yaa Main based on the Thai movie is a well made survival thriller as well as relationship drama. Bejoy along with his writer Abhishek does a good job in setting up the love story. The themes of responsibility and trust with the two leads having to work together as a single unit gives the movie some of its best moments. My full review avaliable in own website rigoberthareviews.com See more arvind s @Arvind100 1d It is a remake (of a Thai film) but it is also a Bejoy Nambiar movie and it is a creature feature. What more can you ask for? Not much, I guess. The beauty of Tu Yaa Main lies in its frames. The first half focuses on building the relationship between the leads and captures the magic of Mumbai's monsoon so so well. For someone who fell in love with Mumbai in just a handful of visits, it felt magical. The music of the film amplifies this magic. There are some really peppy numbers that are a perfect fit. The 2nd half of the movie is when things escalate inside the resort. The crocodile bits work and they are used to good effect. The performances are good. Adarsh Gourav fits the role of an up and coming rapper from Nala Sopara & the same goes for Miss Vanity, played by Shanaya Kapoor, the entitled and popular influencer. Tu Yaa Main is a pretty engaging thriller that will keep you hooked, may it be with Mumbai vistas or via the crocodile antics. See more Mirza M @mirzabaig890 2d 'Tu Yaa Main' is an edge-of-the seat survival thriller that superbly marries class-crossed romance with a reptilian twist. See more Hasnain A @Hasnain541 3d Tu Yaa Main is a refreshing romantic survival thriller that truly shines in its second half. While the first half feels slightly slow and a bit low in pace, it carefully builds the characters and emotional connection. But once the story shifts gears, the second half becomes absolutely gripping and intense. Adarsh Gourav delivers a powerful performance as Maruti Kadam aka Aala Flowpara. He perfectly balances vulnerability and bravery, making his character feel raw and real. On the other hand, Shanaya Kapoor as Avani Shah aka Ms. Vanity brings charm, emotional depth, and strong screen presence. Their chemistry feels natural and adds a beautiful romantic layer to the high-stakes survival drama. The plot — The story of the hero and heroine trapped in a pool with a deadly crocodile creates intense, nail-biting suspense. The second half stands out with brilliantly executed survival scenes filled with emotion and edge-of-the-seat tension. Highly recommend ⭐ See more Read all reviews
