Marco L @decatur555 Oct 22, 2026 An entertaining and enjoyable documentary about La Polla Records that works best when it lets Evaristo speak. His mix of anger, lucidity and dry humor gives the film its real life: he does not seem to be posing for the camera, just remembering, laughing, getting angry and cutting through everything with the same directness that made the band matter. The structure between Evaristo in the countryside and Abel in the bar works well, balancing chaos and memory, spark and context. The concert footage also reminds you that this was not just music, but a shared release for people who heard their own rage in those songs. The film is agile, funny and close, but it could have gone deeper into the political and cultural context of Basque radical rock, and into the band’s contradictions. Still, it has truth, music, humor and enough punk energy to be worthwhile. See more Read all reviews
