Prince Thadeous has always lived his life in the shadow of his brother, the heir apparent, Prince Fabious. Tired of always being passed over, Thadeous is now content to slack off, drink mead and enjoy the company of a maiden or two, while Fabious has fabulous adventures. Critics Consensus

Big budgets and costumes in service of scatalogical jokes may seem funny on paper, but in execution this is a highly monotonous romp that registers only occasional laughs.

Your Highness never sacrifices its cheerful, one-thing-after-another absurdity, or its inability to take itself even remotely seriously.

At the same time, Green is far too talented a filmmaker for this picture to be quite this unrelentingly terrible, and for everyone involved I can't help but think this is a collective low none of them will soon live down.

For comparable entertainment value, you might as well watch a Renaissance Festival employee take a leak behind the costume and pottery booths.

I watched the unrated version and it was hilarious. It’s great to see another comedy in the fantasy genre too!

These reviews must be from the saddest losers the internet has to offer. This movie is a masterpiece- saw it for the first time 15 years ago in college and have seen it 10 times since. It is brilliant and timeless.

Delightfully irreverent fantasy comedy that nails the mix of medieval adventure and unapologetic raunchiness. The vulgar jokes -packed with profanity, sexual innuendos, and absurd moments (that minotaur scene!) - are perfectly timed and contextual, elevating the parody of sword-and-sorcery tales instead of cheapening them. Danny McBride’s deadpan slacker prince, Natalie Portman’s badass warrior, and James Franco’s earnest hero sell every ridiculous bit. Visually impressive with great effects and creature designs, it’s a loving spoof laced with stoner-comedy vibes. The crude humor lands so successfully and appropriately that it makes the whole silly ride hilarious. Underrated gem for anyone craving filthy, fun escapism.

Your Highness is an absolute masterpiece. It cannot be critiqued. Those who don't like it are full of crap.
