A Ghost Story is one of the most unique films I’ve ever seen. The gimmick of the bed sheet with the holes cut out for eyes could have come off as silly, but it never does thanks to the deft hands of David Lowery.

Shockingly dull. There is literally a ten minute scene where the protagonist silently sits on the floor eating ice cream. Almost no dialogue. Zero production values. Be prepared to watch the protagonist be silently depressed for two hours (in a single setting).

I love Casey Affleck, and I enjoy artsy movies, but this one I just could not get on board with. I see what they were trying to do with it, for me it just failed to keep me on board while it got there.
