It was poorly acted (main guy was terrible), the girlfriend was better... the only one that came off as a real actor was the local cop. The cinematography wasn't all that good... yes, It had an extremely low budget. That doesn't mean it has to look like it. The overall story was thin; the ending was pure garbage. This really was more of a drama with the odd horror scene, mostly focusing on the relationship between two of the main characters, which was well portrayed with solid acting from the cast. The idea was good, the story was interesting, the acting/casting was perfect. But somehow it failed at being a compelling drama and being horror. --- Nearly half of it seemed like it was silent flashbacks to their beautiful, budding relationship. One or two makes sense, but there were so many I started fast forwarding by 5secs to skip through. --- The reveal of her mysterious disappearance was dull, and took entirely too long for a dull conversation. It should have been an interesting look at human connection, and what it means to both want more and want what you have. It was a boring look at human boredom. --- His interactions with his friends were entertaining, and the last five minutes were hilarious. If they used more comedy to drive the point of the drama it would've been fantastic.
