This version seems dated, partly because it was "updated" (destroyed for television) and set in 1989. I guess that made it low-budget, but it also ruined it. It was all the rage in 1980s TV, but it was not serious moviemaking. Sometimes it worked, but I don't think it did in this case. The plot was far too predictable, and the acting was almost amateurish. However, I gave it 2 stars purely for the effort, and at least they tried to adapt a good Agatha Christie story.
