Suzanne T @HaikuProject 2d Someone should remake this movie, set it in the 1920's (as it was written) and do Agatha Christie's story justice. This version seems dated, partly because it was "updated" (destroyed for television) and set in 1989. I guess that made it low-budget, but it also ruined it. See more Glafira Regina O @Glafira_Regina 11/19/2024 The first film I was not able to finish. Awful acting, awful plot, cheap costumes, cheap surroundings. And the film seemed to be edited in PowerPoint. See more Ted B @Movieaddicted 09/21/2024 2.0 stars; An Agatha Christie story turned into a made-for-TV movie. It was all the rage in 1980s TV, but it was not serious moviemaking. Sometimes it worked, but I don't think it did in this case. The plot was far too predictable, and the acting was almost amateurish. However, I gave it 2 stars purely for the effort, and at least they tried to adapt a good Agatha Christie story. I just wish there had been more mystery and less cuteness... See more 07/03/2019 the movie slow But has a great staff. See more 07/07/2015 mediocre at best, and they changed the setting as well as the time period and some of the character names. also-as much as I love tony randall, his cross dressing wouldn't have fooled anyone. zimbalist was passable; woodward, over the top. only rue mcclanahan was anything like I envisioned christie's characters.
