...although its premise may seem repetitive, Unfamiliar manages to maintain interest . It doesn't seek to redefine the genre, but rather to execute it with precision. [Full review in Spanish] Go to Full Review

Unfamiliar is a tale that never fully comes together, though it does try awfully hard. Go to Full Review

Unfamiliar is the rare thriller that lays out just enough story in its first episode to engage viewers, while leaving them in the dark about things without making them feel like they’re being manipulated. Go to Full Review

John H @JohnHaba 23h Kidnapping an infant is a horrible crime. All the adult characters who deal with that so so in ways that range from extremely offensive to not making any sense at all. See more Penelope S @Oriole 1d Tough, clever and relentlessly fast-paced, the series delivers a gripping agent thriller without sacrificing emotional depth. Beyond the action, it weaves in love stories and complex human dynamics without ever slipping into melodrama. It portrays empathetic people who make mistakes and villains capable of humanity. There is good and evil - and everything in between actually matters. The acting is outstanding. See more Nicholas V. @gabrielbenavraham 1d This series is in the tradition of esteem TV, featuring excellent acting, a heart pounding script with multiple plot changes and enough surprise encounters to throw you completely off guard. If you thought Cold War era spies went out of style at the end of the Cold War, come to Berlin! You won’t be disappointed. See more Kevin D @Eintelligence 2d Fabulous acting and edge of your seat action! Can’t wait for Season 2! See more Omar C. P @CaliCoco 2d This show is a must watch! The plot has a lot of time line jumping between past and present. Yet the characters seem to keep developing as the episodes roll on. Motives aren’t completely aired out and it seems like the story just keeps plowing through like a runaway train that isn’t going to allow some possible amazing moments to be given the attention they deserve. I get it that these shows are reduced to an hour for consumption but man this story has true potential to make the audience fall in love with professional liars and killers. I have high hopes that they make more of these episodes and for the love of humanity, don’t kill off another banger Netflix. Let this one live. See more Anthony S @Ansmit 2d All in all I thought the show was good. BUT- too many of the various plots, character conflicts, etc. were left completely and totally unresolved such that Season 2 becomes absolutely necessary and yet remains uncertain. I don't mind leaving a thing or two unresolved but revealing the identity of one mystery character was the only major plotline that resolved. I'll feel different if it comes back with season two, but for now I'm a little ticked off about it. See more Read all reviews
