A century before the events of "Game of Thrones," two unlikely heroes wander Westeros. In an adaption of George R. R. Martin's novella "The Hedge Knight," a young and naive but courageous knight, Ser Duncan the Tall, and his diminutive squire, Egg, face a series of dangerous exploits. Set in an age when the Targaryen line still holds the Iron Throne and images of the last dragon have not yet passed from living memory, great destinies and powerful foes await these improbable and incomparable friends.

This is TV series at its best, this just proves that throwing money at something does not mean that its going to be good, I hope that this only encourages more creaters/directors/producers to follow the footsteps of TV series like this and Andor. It is hero story, that feels realistic, true to its source material and just lovely all the way through.

Love this more than GOT and HOTD, this series captures the working class of Westeros perfectly combined with the insights of “medieval” high society that the series is more known for with a dash of light hearted humor that makes the other series seem cold. All are blended masterfully and contrast each other constantly, just wish we got more episodes but that’s a good complaint imo if we get 8 seasons of this I’ll be happy and forgive the finale we were given for GOT lol. If it keeps this pace of storytelling we are in for a renaissance of fantasy television like we’ve never seen wonderful show and wonderful performances.

This is how you introduce a set of characters in almost a comedic weightless tone, to then build up the stakes to an extreme for a reasoble cause, to finally have the most dramatic snd satisfactory pay off.. Superbe.

Better than House of the Dragon. Acting, script, plot twist, and character development. GOT had many main characters, whereas - A knight of the Seven - feels a little different because it’s primarily focused on 1 character’s story. Thats being said, it’s very well done. You also aren’t jumping around different stories like in GOT. So, it actually flows better in a way than GOT.
