Battling sexism, medical conventions, and the subterfuge of her peers, Evans developed the first Neuroblastoma Staging System, co-founded the first Ronald McDonald House for families of patients, and, ultimately, impacted the lives of millions of children and families around the world.

Dormer definitely hasn’t lost her edge on either screen, as the film is as empowering as it is a delight to watch her inhabit this woman’s life with its simple pleasures and grand aspirations.

Between Minecraft, Superman previews, and the approach of King of Kings, for Easter content, is a ground-level story. Set in Philadelphia, Audrey Evans works within the male-dominated climate of Children's Hospital in Philadelphia to find methods to give children a greater chance to survive their cancer diagnoses. This movie is fun, it is extremely informative, looks great, and deals with the reality of gender discrimination and how time matters both against the human condition and in the face of hope. The issue I had with this film was because of its place, with bumpers for films like Minecraft and Superman, and its opposite, grounded nature. This film was so realistic that if children attended, there would be some harsh material related to medical diagnoses and children. Solid film.
