Beautiful boy is the best movie I have ever seen in my life. Holy shit. Timothee chalamet perfectly embodies how it feels and looks to be a young addict. As a high school student, his behaviors look and feel exactly like how I felt when I was struggling with an addiction, as well as other people I know still going through that. This movie had me balling my eyes out alone on my bed. I have never felt so sympathetic with someone on a TV screen, acting, than I did while watching this. The actors know what they are doing and I almost felt like I could step through the screen and hold hands with them, I wish I could. Anyone who is planning on watching this movie needs to gather up some tissues and needs to be absolutely ready. This movie is actually the most gut wrenching heart breaking experience I have ever had. I don’t think, even in real life, I could ever express the feelings expressed through this movie. I loved this movie more than I love life itself. Amazing movie. 10/10 from me.

Nearly perfect film. The repetition and relapsing creates a really tragic story. Steve Carell and timothee Chalmet were the perfect cast. I understand why people find the music jarring, but i think it added to the tragedy and uncertainity of Nic's sobriety. The movie in itself felt a little long, but there is not a single scene I would cut, every detail was meticulously thought out. This is definitely in my top 5 movies.

It’s one of my comfort non comfort movies, everyone’s acting here was phenomena. Especially nick and his dad the relationship was so beautiful and gut wrenching. I would recommend anyone to watch this movie at least once, it really changes you in some way. It’s one of the best movies I’ve seen of the portrayal of drug addiction and mental health.
