Luke W @RT29505599 6d Is there a secret hidden message here for irresponsible dog owners? I can't help but feel like there is. I mean, it seems to me that this entire thing would never have happened if this couple had just kept their dog on a leash, like responsible owners. Or, at the absolute bare minimum, kept a better eye on it. I'm fine with dogs being off leash so long as they have extremely good recall, which apparently this dog didn't. It had multiple opportunities to return to its owners when they called it from inside the tunnel, and it chose not to. It chose to just run around at the end of the tunnel, chasing a 40p ball between the baddies. Now, that's not to say that those bad guys weren't terrible people, because they were. But if the dog had been on a leash, the couple probably could have just avoided the interaction altogether and either turned around, kept their heads down or even ran if the worst came to the worst. Overall, not a bad film. It was entertaining enough and easy to follow. See more Mark K @RT64168323 May 31 Unfairly reviewed by the critics. Although this is an older movie, I hadn’t heard of it before today and stumbled upon it on Netflix. It's not a straight revenge flick, but a study of a tortured woman driven by fear to find a kind of courage, although one tinged with guilt. Does that sound pretentious?
