Erik P @RT15747548 Jun 21 The worst movie we have ever imagined. An achievement in amatuerdome. It’s surprising for a work to be poorly done in all respects. The writing is ill-conceived and terrible. The lighting is strange and unhelpful. The direction and acting is what one might expect from a high school presentation if the entire production were run by the students. The characters are so strangely stereo typical, it was distracting. At first we thought this was a parody. We laughed throughout the movie about the decisions of the film maker. If you want to laugh your head off at what it supposed to be a suspenseful murder mystery, you might try it. I wish there were a quarter-star for having people show up and deliver lines. Eric Fellows and Jessica Dawn Willis eat up the screen with strong and commanding work. The entire cast works wonderfully to tell a exciting and revealing tail. Lana's direction on Death 4 Dinner continues to show the industry why she capturing audiences fans with her vision and storytelling. The lighting and cinematography on this film is outstanding and behaves as a character on it's own adding tension and flare throught. Death 4 Dinner is an outstanding film and a pleasure to watch. If you enjoy the muder mystery genre, there's enough twists and surprises to keep you guessing. The performance catered to the murder mystery genre perfectly as there was enough deviousness and motive in all the characters. Generally speaking the film suffered from a few scenes that could have been kept more light hearted and inappropriate for younger audiences, that simply could have been handled a little differently, which would have allowed for a wider audience. The story morphed from trying to be edgy to a more lighthearted approach. From a production standpoint, Lana Read demonstrated her keen ability to frame and shape each scene with expert detail. As a director, she has the chops! The one area that suffered from the production perspective is that the audio quality was subpar. All in all, I enjoyed the film and in my opinion it's worth a watch.
