If you’re a fan of ludicrous shark deaths and characters you will not care about, Deep Water might be your idea of a good time. Still, overall, there is too much drag working against this flimsy story.

Film was good enough… until the sharks show up. Clearly the film makers have never seen a shark and don’t know anything about them. This could have been an excellent film about plane crash victims trying to survive in the ocean. Instead, it’s shlock that plays on Deep Blue Sea style sharks, but with no reason for their outrageous behavior. Save yourself some money and watch it on steaming. Or better yet, just watch Deep Blue Sea.
