When birthday girl Sam goes missing during her virtual surprise party, her close friends work together to uncover how and why she vanished. Using calls, texts, and social media, they retrace her steps--until, one by one, they fail to return from visits to her apartment. As a dangerous figure from Sam's past emerges, her friends must confront this deranged threat, fight to rescue her, and somehow survive before they, too, disappear.

There’s a seed of a great idea at the heart of Don’t Log Off, even if it isn’t given the sunlight it needs to thrive. The real question, however, is whether it’s one that audiences actually want to see in 2025.

Trying to balance both conventional cinematic formatting (editing choices, having a score, and jumps in character) and the nature of a Gen Z-styled thriller, the film never really comes together in a way that feels comfortable.

DON’T LOG OFF is a new horror movie that plays out on the screen during the early days of the pandemic lockdown. It’s very efficient with a character-driven plot that works. A pleasant surprise.

Solid movie overall. The only complaint I have about it is that it cuts off towards the end of the climax of the movie. I wish they would’ve shown footage from street cams or cameras in the building of police coming in and saving Katy. Other than that I loved the film. I like the webcam style shooting of the film. Oh and I knew Annie and Adam were either hooking up or were going to hookup by the end of the film the tension between them were off the charts.

Decent film reminds me of Unfriended that lead a path way for these type movies. Love the actors in the movie as I grew with them. Pretty solid film over all. Worth the rewatch as background noise. I was entertained.
