Three stories unfold over the course of one night in Acapulco, Mexico. In the first, Chano (Emilio Valdés) forces his way back into the home of his ex-lover, Fernanda (Diana García), who is currently involved with jealous Gonzalo (Juan Pablo Castaneda). In the second, Gonzalo tries various means to win his lover back. In the third, a young runaway (Miriana Moro) becomes a suicidal man's (Fernando Becerril) unlikely protector.

The most of mexicans films tend to be, or at least try but fail miserably, profound and philosophical, but this is close enough to that. This film lets you a dry sensation in your mouth, its in some way overwhelming. Maybe the weak point its the inability to handle all the stories, its has some slumps because of it. Even that, Naranjo its a powerful and innovative, for Mexican cinema, director that has a promising career.
