A grimy, surreal micro-budget horror film that combines psychological torment with supernatural sleaze. Inspired by Hellraiser but stamped with Joe Hollow’s DIY grit, it’s a messy, bold, and anchored by a powerhouse performance from Debbie Rochon.

Deserves a nod for being completed and getting distributed. However, its structure is so hard to follow that it feels a need to give us both a mid-film recap montage, accompanied by a rap song, and a closing monologue explaining what we just watched.

The premise involving guilt and fear is a good one, but is muted and mangled by gruesome theatrics and overkill. It feels very much like the judicious application of the “less is more” rule was called for.
