Laura is a popular college student who graciously accepts an online friend request from Marina, a young social outcast. To everyone's shock, Marina takes her own life after Laura decides to unfriend her. Soon, a disturbing and mysterious video appears on Laura's profile and her contacts slowly dwindle. When her friends suddenly begin to die one by one, the frightened young woman must figure out a way to stop the carnage before it's too late.

The characters aren't as obnoxious and unlikable as the ones in "Smiley" and "Unfriended," but then again, bland and forgettable is only a marginally preferable alternative.

It was really good thriller, unique plot too. Actors have done a great job. I don't understand the criticism at all, it was an amazing watch. Easily on my top 5s.

Besides a few jump scares, this movie is horrible. The artwork's pretty cool but the movie really doesn't make much sense it flip-flops everywhere and the ending was bad.

It has some cool visuals but overall the story just doesn't make much sense. And that ending... ugh. The motivations were non existent and the characters were all pretty flat.

I've seen many bad reviews for this. This movie is more interesting than many that get big reviews like today like, Longlegs .RT is a mess like everything in the world now. Getting paid to give good reviews for bad movies.

With the New Movie Long Legs as a comparison I give this a 5/5 better than Long legs. The jump scares were eh, the movie was shot terribly, the plot was horrible. But it was STILL better than Long Legs.
