Marco L @decatur555 Oct 22, 2026 This film is much nastier than its light setup initially suggests. What looks like a simple workplace comedy becomes a sharp satire of corporate culture, job insecurity and the hypocrisy behind phrases like "we're a family." Maribel Verdú is particularly enjoyable as a wonderfully unpleasant operator, while Alexandra Jiménez, Pedro Casablanc and Raúl Tejón give the ensemble plenty of personality. Tejón once again uses the insecure, ego-driven comic energy familiar from Alpha Males, and he does it extremely well. The film is strongest when it shows how quickly teamwork disappears once employees are encouraged to see one another as rivals. It could push some of its ideas further, but its best jokes are funny precisely because the corporate absurdities feel uncomfortably recognizable. See more Read all reviews
