The old talking-animal routine gets a bit of an update in that this time the animal is vulgar and profane in a way Mr. Ed or Francis the Talking Mule would never have been. But that's about the extent of the inventiveness in this unfunny comedy. Go to Full Review Read all reviews

Bobcat's schtick, and john candy's humor were popular in the 80s for a reason. Much the same way Jim Carrey's humor works. Verbal/physical comedy. It is a good movie for kids. It's cheesy in a way that kids can enjoy. Adults may not enjoy the humor as much, but I wouldn't say that it's their kind of film. I would strongly recommend this film for kids interested in comedy. For fans of Bobcat and fans of John Candy. If they like Spaceballs and/or Police Academy, it's a fun film. It's a campy, cheesy, fun film. Silly in a good way. See more Read all reviews
