See more Michael C @Michael71 08/23/2021 Some decent performances is pretty much the only positive thing I can say about "House of Horrors". The late Rondo Hatton does as well as he can do I suppose. The story is old and formulaic. Nothing really original. In the end, it is just another run of the mill movie that we have seen many times before. I would not bother with it. Apparently many more were planned, unfortunately he died after The Brute Man was made. Rondo has inspired many characters, from a Scooby Doo, Stephen King and Dr. Who villains to a bad guy in Rocketeer. His shadowy frightening visage is not enough to rescue this film, but beware of saying anything against it, since The Creeper apparently exacts vengeance on critics! See more Read all reviews
