Hoover C 01/27/2023 Not sure how this film made it to be released anywhere, with a badly written script, and skin-deep character portraiture. With the subject of a gay rugby story, it could have the potential to be great if the film could focus on the sport and competition to bring out the romance. Instead, it focuses on the mellow drama of two guys cheating on their partners. If that's the route, at least give more stories to their spouses, and provide a more three-dimensional portrayal of the main characters. In the 2 plus more hours, the whole film just focuses on their repeating cheating, getting together, and nothing else. The whole plot and the action of the characters keep contradicting each other. See more HENRY B 01/21/2023 I really Enjoyed this film.. It moves at a pace allowing the viewer to get Invested in the characters and grow Empathetic for them. Also, Smart Writing where two people are at Fault instead of the usual “Villain/Home-wrecker” role by One Person. The action sequences are done well and the guys really give it their all when playing rugby - the Sexuality becomes a Non-Issue. Beautiful Locations and Apartment to see the Success of the characters lives. Oh and the Guys are Gorgeous & very Masculine which was Refreshing to see! Great Acting all around! It does deal with more of the complexities of LGBTQ relationships after coming out. Mango plants I have about it is it would’ve been nice to have some more of the actual sport being played rather than the melodrama. If that wasn’t possible, at least bring more of a three-dimensional perspective by giving more to the partners of the main characters. See more Miguel D @luvblond Feb 18 90% of gay films are about gaydolescence and the coming out process so it is really nice to see a film about hairy chested gay adults looking for love in places they shouldn't look and making decisions they shouldn't make. The half of it about two people falling in love is so luscious I have watched it three times. The other half where they are operating in deep water makes me decide to not watch it again. But I do.
