See more Kevin P @RT55971421 Jul 20 A very entertaining adaptation of the show with crazy stunts and pranks that are either hilarious or hard to watch. It's insanely impressive how the crew do all of their own stunts and push their bodies to the limits. How none of them died from these stunts is a miracle. The Tony Hawk skating scene are great time capsule moments. The main cast are the heart of the film, including Johnny Knoxville, Steve-O, Wee-Man, Bam, Ryan, David, and Chris Pontius. The movie starts off well with the memorable shopping cart opening scene. The movie really feels like cartoon physics brought to life. It's crazy how this was directed by Spike Jonze of all people. The stunts are very amusing. While it's not as extreme as the later installments, the more laid-back and easygoing vibe help ground this movie into feeling more like one crazy long home video of a bunch of friends screwing around instead of your typical Hollywood production, making it feel all the more real and memorable. See more Mattias J @hehudio3qbdiuoobnodiq Jul 7 It’s a documentary of sorts so it’s hard to do a real review since there’s no written plot or structure or dialogue, but I’ll try my best. My main comment is that it makes a lot of sense that there isn’t really a woman involved in this entire process, at least none that I have seen. This film to me is a representation of pure unfettered masiculinity. A testament to art, in my opinion. A lot of respect is due to these people who are willing go to these extreme lengths in the name of a very entertaining film. Cinematic superheroes, as well as a very iconic cast of characters; you can’t go wrong with Johnny Knoxville. Understandable as to why some people aren’t really able to enjoy this kind of film, but appreciative to those who are open minded enough to find it at least kind of funny. Even though this movie has low scores, it’s still a classic to me, a lot of the stunts were pretty solid and disgusting and it had me laughing hysterically, and since I’m reviewing all the films before “Jacka$$: best and last” I’m going to rank the top 5 best stunts in each film 1: Sons of jacka$$. Great stunt to finish off the movie and was absolutely hilarious and crazy 2: Opening Sequence. A cool and funny way to introduce the craziness that we’re about to experience. 3: tidal wave. Watching the title take away the camera and show off the water in the grass was pretty cool. 4. Wasabi sn****rs. Pretty disgusting but pretty funny at the same time. 5. Alligator tightrope. A pretty funny stunt that didn’t last long. Overall, I think that this movie isn’t not perfect, but it is pretty funny and can give a lot of people laughs 7.8/10 See more Read all reviews
