Its grimy low-budget aesthetic, outrageous characters, and deliberately disgusting set pieces make it feel like forbidden cinema, and more than 50 years later, it remains just as hilarious, disturbing, and wildly offensive. Definitely not for everyone, or perhaps anyone, but for those who embrace Waters’ trashy sensibility, PINK FLAMINGOS is a twisted cult masterpiece.
