Set in the golden age of aviation, a young airplane enthusiast, Jeff (played by newcomer Clark Shotwell), and his mother (Kelly Eviston-Quinnett) set off on a one-way cross-country odyssey to Hollywood, which transforms a simple flight into the trip of a lifetime. Between airline meals, charming flight attendants (played by Ella Bleu Travolta and Olga Hoffmann), unexpected stopovers, larger-than-life passengers and a thrilling glimpse at first class, the journey unfolds in moments both magical and unexpected, charting the course for the boy's future.

As many of the positive reviewers here will tell you, this movie is certainly not for everyone. However, if you grew up any time in the golden age of aviation, you'll appreciate this elegant, nostalgic homage narrated by its young, airplane-loving protagonist. It's a simple, rose-coloured story filled with heartfelt moments and beautiful pieces of early 1960's life. Thanks to John Travolta and Apple Films for producing a truly special movie.

Beautiful flashback to a younger and more innocent period of John Travolta's childhood, portrayed very well by Clark Shotwell. Lifelong fans of John Travolta will not want to miss this personal memoir of his first flight, viewed with wide-eyed wonder.

From The title sequencing to the sound design, the art direction, the scenic design, the acting, the directing, the writing and production... I could go on and on. This is such a gem! I've been a huge John Travolta fan my whole life, but this by far exceeds great expectations. I'm so happy for him and for all involved in this project. As a professional actor, director and writer myself in the past, I fully appreciate everything that has gone into this and I'm so happy to see such a kiss to aviation to filmmaking to the best of the '60s and then some. Thank you John, Ella and all those who took part in this. Furthermore, to have the treat of seeing Kelly reflected in this project warms my heart beyond expression.
