Far from being a spoof on the genre, Shoot 'Em Up is an action movie with the flab removed - with no more than maybe ten minutes of exposition, you're left with a series of interconnecting money shots, each one more gooey than the last.

What can i say? Shoot 'Em Down is a good action movie, not flawless, but it is enjoyable for the well made action scenes and the spice of humor. That baby must be really tough to hear gun fires and stay calm, well, what can i say about a metalhead baby? Also, Nirvana music. That's enough for me.

On paper I should love this movie but it just misses the mark and I can't adequately explain why, the vulgar stupid irreverence is the kind of thing I love but it's just a little off.

This is the most nonsensical, weird, bizarre, horribly-acted movie that I've seen; I kept cringing the whole time. Some people try to defend it, but I just think it's for people with very poor taste. Would never recommend my worst enemy to watch this. Painfully boring. The only good thing about the film is Monica Belluci's beauty. How can I give it a quarter of a star?
