This is a story that has to be told. We have to be reminded of the dangers of capitalism at its absolute worst and how much power corporations have to steal our ideas without regard. Go to Full Review

Samantha S @Samanthascaff2122 9h The colors of this film bring you back to a late afternoon vibe, style and theme of the 90s. I check the credits of director Stefano Da Fre and cinematographer AJ DeSimone and also producer Laura Pellegrini, and found these artists have worked with one another for 10 years. It shows very strongly and creatively in this film stolen dough. You always have a deep sense of urgency and space and time in this film. You understand that texture and color are as much an influence to the viewer as Anthony Mongiello pursuit to the recognition he deserves. I loved this movie Stolen Dough. It made me cry several times. It felt absolutely real to me. See more Ram D @Ramdass108 21h I must recommend this film to everyone, primarily because it is a spiritual experience Anthony Mongiello goes through to fight a major corporate food chain. His challenge is a spiritual challenge, and best of all, director Stefano Da Fre draws us into this world very very deeply. This is an emotional film. You will feel deeply to Anthony’s story and I believe more crime docudramas should exist like this in the world. I loved this film ! See more Jadranka D @JadrankaDeSimone39 2d "Stolen Dough" is a well-made and thought-provoking documentary. Anthony Mongiello's determination and passion shine throughout the film, making his story impossible to forget. I was completely invested in his fight and came away feeling he deserved far more credit for his contribution to pizza history. See more Steve M @SteveM40 2d "Stolen Dough" is a fascinating and frustrating true story about Anthony Mongiello, the inventor of stuffed crust pizza. The film does an excellent job showing how a major corporation stole his idea, leaving him without the recognition or compensation he deserved. A compelling documentary that kept me engaged from beginning to end. See more David B @DBower1 2d In today’s consumer driven world, there is a TON of content. Some of it good, some of it terrible, but ultimately, not a lot of it stays with you after the credits roll. It’s rare to have an experience where you watch something that not only resonates emotionally, but leads to discourse after. I loved "Stolen Dough" for this very reason. This is a film where stakes are very high and clear, and - kudos to the director for this - at the core is a story that is universal and emotionally compelling. We care very much about Anthony and what happens to him. In the end, I do hope the family feels vindicated and that his contribution to Italian-American culture lives on. 5 STARS. See more Michael A @Antonioni77 4d This is a crime drama set in the 1990s that feel so authentic, I was actually frightened seeing the abuse and verbal attacks Anthony Mongiello took in order to defend his creation of stuffed crust pizza. Also I’m amazed at how dramatic director Stefano Da Fre shot and edited this film, the transition feel so fast and the pacing of the film is infinitely better than Pepsi where’s my jet? Which is on Netflix now. Overall. This is a STANDOUT crime drama set in the 90s that you can tell was done with amazing attention to detail. I highly recommend it. Especially if you love crime or food crime invention stories. See more Read all reviews
