A lean and mean thriller, director Adam Wingard's The Guest is a hugely entertaining affair. Wingard and screenwriter Simon Barrett keep this retro-style pic simple in order to craft some tense moments and punchy action sequences.

As a director Adam Wingard has yet to disappoint as I have loved every single film I’ve seen of his so far. Finally got around to see The Guest since Adam talked about his new film coming this weekend Onslaught being in the same universe.

i think its rlly a good movie but the only problem is that they missed giving us more infos about it and the end is kinda good and bad at the same time but i think its rlly a good movie worth a watch

This was painful. It was slow and made no sense as to his motives, and then when you find out they are so paper-thin you couldn't roll a joint with it. I almost turned it off, but decided not to because I was morbidly curious about how they were going to polish this turd.

Did not get the reason this military guy was psycho, until finally revealed near the end. Unsatisfying + the 80s--style music was a bit irritating. :(

Good story concept, great acting, and a very good turn as a psycho military lab rat by Dan Stevens. For a lower budget production it hits well above its pay grade and is definitely worth a watch. In my top 15 of all-time best serial killer movies.
