If you enjoy serial killer movies, do not watch The House That Jack Built expecting traditional, satisfying fare. If you are a von Trier fan, he has done better work, and something in this film feels lacking.

Well, I think it's a good time to express my thoughts, I feel that Lars in this film shows the great narrative that a capable, wise and talented director can have, who knows the story he wants to tell both in characters and in a point of self-analysis through it, I think Lars has not gotten the due recognition, It's too much for the current era, but it's already being more recognized from being a cult... Also nowadays not a single film becomes so interesting and capable of telling a story with well-structured characters (created), in this era few, very few are capable, Lars in most of his works from Antichrist to the House of Jack maintains if not exceeds his own level, in my opinion. Thank you for everything Lars.

One messed up movie for sure! Not easy for most people I think to fully enjoy or watch, but is succesful in making me think and feel, some movies are fun, some make you cry, this one makes you think about things we sometimes wonder what someone so evil could think and do in such a dark world.

This movie is actually pretty good. I was bored and looking for movies to watch, and I saw this movie a couple times but I kept scrolling past it. When I couldn’t find anything good, I decided to see what this was all about. Man, this was pretty entertaining. You can also learn not to trust every stranger with this movie too so I guess there’s that. It’s two hours an a half, so if you’ve got the time, check this movie out.
