In 1986, federal agent Robert Mazur (Bryan Cranston) goes undercover to infiltrate the trafficking network of Colombian drug kingpin Pablo Escobar. Working with fellow agents Kathy Ertz (Diane Kruger) and Emir Abreu (John Leguizamo), Mazur poses as a slick, money-laundering businessman named Bob Musella. Gaining the confidence of Roberto Alcaino (Benjamin Bratt), Escobar's top lieutenant, Mazur must navigate a vicious criminal underworld where one wrong move could cost him everything.

The Infiltrator is what I like to call a decent Saturday laundry film, something that you can put on, walk away from it and let it run on it's own for about 10 minutes, return to it and not be lost at all.

Moviegoers need another film about the drug trade as much as they need a hole in the head - or, more specifically, a cocaine-caused hole in the nose - but The Infiltrator does just enough right to make it a welcome addition to the canon.

Filme fraco, o roteiro é fraco, as cenas são fracas, a história é fraca, o elenco é fraco, e ninguém ajuda a melhorar o filme, os personagens são fracos, e o filme deveria ter cenas bem melhores e relevantes, para fazer o filme ser bom

I thought this was a great movie. As I read through previous reviews, some stated that there was not enough action to keep you engaged. I believe this to be false. The great acting, constant suspense and intrigue made this a wonderful diamond in the rough.

I loved this movie. I wasn’t expecting it to be as good as it was. The underlying tension was the fun part of it. An audacious plan to bring down the bad guys was fraught with danger at every turn. Being based on a true story made it even more tense. Who would willingly be an undercover person? You almost end up feeling a bit sorry for the crims who were sucked in so badly. Great acting by all the cast. Watch .. enjoy.

A bit clunky and short on execution. Not sure how many more adaptations we need of the Colombian Cartel, although I am personally a fan of the category. Cranston couldn’t be bad in a movie even if he tried!
